Corey Coogan and Jackson Murphy, former Briar Woods High School standouts, played on Saturday, March 8 in NCAA Division III baseball game

On Saturday, March 8, former Briar Woods High School standouts Corey Coogan and Jackson Murphy’s current college team, the Roanoke Maroons, lost 6-6 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Bridgewater Eagles.

The game took place at Bridgewater Baseball Field. This was their second matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Maroons’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, March 13 at 4 p.m. at Salem Memorial Ballpark against Christopher Newport Captains.
