On Saturday, March 15, former Briar Woods High School standouts Corey Coogan and Jackson Murphy’s current college team, the Roanoke Maroons, lost 19-7 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets.

The game took place at Salem Memorial Ballpark. This was their second matchup against the Yellow Jackets this season.

The Maroons’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 19 at 6 p.m. at Salem Memorial Ballpark against Ferrum Panthers.
