On Saturday, March 1, former Briar Woods High School standouts Corey Coogan and Jackson Murphy’s current college team, the Roanoke Maroons, won 12-11 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Denison Big Red.
The game took place at Salem Memorial Ballpark. This was their second matchup against the Big Red this season.
The Maroons’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 12 p.m. at Salem Memorial Ballpark against Denison Big Red.
