Former Broad Run High School standout Reagan Troy and her Coastal Carolina Chanticleers team were defeated 17-11 by the Florida State Seminoles during their NCAA Division I softball game Sunday, March 8, at noon.

Their contest was held at St. John Stadium, marking the third time this season the teams faced each other. The Chanticleers lost to the Seminoles 5-2 in their meeting the previous day, Saturday, March 7.

In the game, Troy pitched 0.2 innings, surrendering two earned runs and issuing four walks.

Coastal Carolina is scheduled to play next Friday, March 13, at 6 p.m. at St. John Stadium versus Appalachian State Mountaineers.
