Candace Slaw, former Rappahannock County High School standout’s collegiate team plays on Thursday, May 15 in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship

On Thursday, May 15, former Rappahannock County High School standout Candace Slaw’s current collegiate team the Christopher Newport Captains won 12-0 against the Farmingdale State Rams in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Captains Park at 11 a.m. and was the first matchup against the Farmingdale State Rams in the tournament.

The Christopher Newport Captains’ next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 11 a.m. at Captains Park.
