Bridgewater Eagles secured a 12-7 victory over the Whittier Poets in NCAA Division III baseball action Monday, March 2, at 2 p.m. Former Tuscarora High School standout Cole Keel contributed for Bridgewater, which notched its first meeting with Whittier this season.

The game was played at Hugh B. Mendez Stadium. This marked the first contest between the teams this year.

Keel gave up two earned runs over two innings, tallying two walks and three strikeouts.

Looking ahead, the Eagles are set to play Roanoke Maroons on Saturday, March 7, at 11 a.m. at Salem Memorial Ballpark.
