On Saturday, March 22, former Briar Woods High School standouts Corey Coogan and Jackson Murphy’s current college team, the Roanoke Maroons, won 16-13 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Eastern Mennonite Royals.

The game took place at Royals Field. This was their first matchup against the Royals this season.

The Maroons’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 3 p.m. at Royals Field against Eastern Mennonite Royals.
