On Wednesday, April 16, former Briar Woods High School standouts Corey Coogan and Jackson Murphy’s current college team, the Roanoke Maroons, lost 9-5 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Ferrum Panthers.
The game took place at Panther Field. This was their second matchup against the Panthers this season.
The Maroons’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 19 at 12 p.m. at Salem Memorial Ballpark against Shenandoah Hornets.
